Yadkin Valley

Located in northwestern North Carolina, the Yadkin Valley is home to North Carolina's first federally-recognized American Viticultural Area, the Yadkin Valley AVA. This AVA encompasses 1.4 million acres, including all of Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin counties and portions of Stokes, Davie, Davidson and Forsyth counties.

Round Peak Vineyards

Round Peak VineyardsRound Peak Vineyards is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Yadkin Valley, the first American Viticultural Area in North Carolina. Longtime friends, George and Susan Little and Lee and Janet Martin purchased their 32-acre site on Round Peak Church Road and planted six varieties of grapes on eight acres in 2000. Round Peak wines are estate grown, made exclusively from grapes grown on their own site.

2 Acres of Grapes located in Yadkin County across from the Yadkin Country Club. Named after the local Shore family. Used the old world Swiss spelling of the name. The Schorr in Switzerland have a small vineyard and winery.

Shadow Springs Vineyard

Shaadow Springs VineyardShadow Springs is a family owned vineyard located on a 47 acre farm in the Yadkin Valley. Opening its state of the art tasting room in July of 2008 Shadow Springs has the ability to serve its award winning wines at both an upstairs and downstairs tasting bar. The downstairs area can be also used for buses, large parties and private events. This area opens up to a covered patio which overlooks the vineyard and pond. Plan to spend some time enjoying this serene location and enjoying the fine wines.
