At Bannerman Vineyard, you can see six different varieties of native North Carolina Muscadine grapes in the field, including Carlos, Triumph, Nesbitt, Noble, Doreen and Magnolia.

Bennett Vineyards' grapes are grown on land located between the historic Neuse and Pamlico Rivers near Edward, NC. The property was a Land Grant to the Bennett Family by King Charles II. On the sandy soil they produce Muscadine and Scuppernong grapes and make wine with the Old Fashion Homemade Wine Recipe of 1840.
Growing the muscadine cultivars of Carlos, Noble, Magnolia, Cypress Bend Vineyards produces four table wines and one dessert wine from Muscadine grapes. Cypress Bend Vineyards plans to add more wines including Syrah and Chardonnay.
Duplin Winery is the oldest operating winery in North Carolina and may be one of the fastest growing wineries in the east. In the fifth annual N.C. State Fair Commercial Wine Competition held Monday, Oct. 10, Duplin Winery's Magnolia took the N.C. Muscadine Cup for best muscadine wine.
Winemaking has been a tradition for years at Hinnant Family Vineyards. Since the first vines went into the ground in 1971, the Hinnant Family has dedicated years to cultivating and maintaining the largest Muscadine vineyard in North Carolina. Over the years, the Hinnants have been no strangers to amateur winemaking. But it was not until the spring of 2003 that the Hinnants started producing wine commercially.
