Lake James Cellars is a family owned and operated winery located in the foothills of North Carolina. Our name comes from the nearby beautiful Lake James. Step through the leaded-glass front doors of our restored 1915 textile mill building and taste the magnificent flavors of our fine North Carolina wines.

New River Wineries
New River Winery is the first commercial winery located in Ashe County, North Carolina. Located in downtown Lansing, the winery was founded in 2005 as a cooperative venture of wine lovers with a common tie to Ashe County and the Blue Ridge High Country.

NRW wines are currently being sold at Bohemia (www.bohemianc.com) located in downtown West Jefferson. The well known gallery and coffee shop has become the first tasting outlet for New River Winery wine.
Our vineyard and winery are located in the Tryon foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our wines are handcrafted in small quanities in artisian style. We hope you get the same appreciation in drinking them as we do in crafting them.
Focusing exclusively on Vinifera grapes, Rockhouse has grown to 10 acres of vineyards planted in Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Viognier and Cabernet Franc. Rockhouse wines are made from Rockhouse Vineyard grapes as well as selected grapes from local growers in the Tryon area.
