About Us
Who we are:
Incorporated in the state of North Carolina as a non-profit, the goal of the North Carolina Winegrower's Association is to help our members grow better grapes, make better wine and market the final product more effectively. Current membership of the NCWA is more than 350.
The NCWA has a nine-member Board of Directors made up of volunteer members elected to the Board for two-year terms. There is one paid position, that of Administrative Coordinator. For details, click on NCWA ByLaws below.
What we do:
Our primary focus is membership education. We also work to foster cooperation between member wineries and vineyards in an effort to increase the knowledge base of all our members. And finally, we work as an advocate to support the needs of our industry in Raleigh.
How we do it:
• Seminars and workshops
• Vineyard and winery visits
• Supplier presentations
• Annual Meeting
• Industry-specific articles
• Informal meetings
